1. Data controller

2. Data we process
Identity and contact: name, title, email, phone, company and city.
Company and financial information: business model, financial data, requested amount, shareholding structure and similar information you provide.
Uploaded documents: trade registry, tax, activity and signature documents, financial statements, contracts and the personal data they contain.
Transaction security: portal login records, IP address, browser information and timestamps of approvals and consents.
3. Purposes
Assessing your funding application; preparing your business plan, financial model, valuation and application file; reviewing your documents and notifying you of missing items; communication and scheduling meetings; forwarding your file to investment institutions with your approval; performing the advisory agreement; and complying with legal obligations.
4. Legal grounds
KVKK Art. 5/2: performance of a contract (c), legal obligation (ç), establishing or protecting a right (e) and legitimate interest (f). Where the law requires explicit consent (e.g. the transfers abroad below), we obtain it.
5. AI-assisted pre-review
Documents uploaded to the client portal are read by an AI service (Google Gemini) for a preliminary check of whether they are correct, current and legible. This is a pre-check only; all decisions are made by MCF specialists. Sending documents to this service constitutes a transfer abroad (see section 6).
6. Transfers
Within Türkiye: with your approval, your application file is forwarded to crowdfunding platforms licensed by the Capital Markets Board and to venture capital investment funds (GSYF). Data may also be shared with competent authorities and with our accountants and legal advisers under confidentiality.
Abroad: the servers hosting our website and client portal, our email infrastructure and the AI service used for document pre-review are located abroad. These transfers are made under the safeguards of KVKK Art. 9 or, where these are not available, on the basis of the explicit consent you give in our forms.
7. Collection method
Through the forms on mcfdanismanlik.com, the client portal, email, phone and WhatsApp correspondence and meetings, partly by automated means.
8. Retention
For clients with a contract: for the statutory retention periods (10 years) and the general limitation period after the contract ends. For applications that do not lead to a contract: up to 2 years from the application date. Data is then deleted, destroyed or anonymised.
9. Your rights (KVKK Art. 11)
You may request information about the processing of your data, its correction, deletion or destruction, learn the third parties it is transferred to, object to adverse outcomes of solely automated analysis, claim compensation for unlawful processing, and withdraw your consent at any time.
